An Updated On My Rabbit Kits

All Photo and Text Copyright Life with Ragdolls 2013~2016

Hi Everyone,

Here is a quick update on Lopster and Moon Traveler's kits, sorry it's short but I caught a cold this week and not really up to writing or doing much commenting now.

I ended up getting 2 does (females) and 1 buck (male) from this litter. One broken black agouti doe, one broken agouti buck, and one solid silver doe. The silver doe is staying with me as a future breeder and to eventually replace her mom (she is 2 years old next October). I named the silver one Nightfall, the agouti doe is Blossom, and the agouti buck was Snickers. Unfortunately, some thing killed Snickers one night when he was only 2 weeks old, and on his dad's birthday no less. Sad night.
His sisters are thriving at 4 weeks old. Blossom has a home for next month when they're 6 weeks old, Snickers was suppose to go with her. Such was not to be.

They're so cute at this age. Like little fluffy teddy bears or something, ha. They're going through two bowls of pellets a day and eating the hay from my own genius idea to recreate several suet bird feeder cages and stuff them with hay. Bam! No wasted hay. Lopster's kits have always gone as pets to people, but hopefully I'll start selling meat rabbits soon as well.

Snickers:

Nightfall.

Isn't she gorgeous?

Blossom.

Blossom again.

Nightfall again.
